A newly built residence on the edge of Knokke-Heist, designed by Pascal Bilquin, overlooking the open landscape of the polders. The property is made up of a main house and a secondary volume. This second building houses a spacious underground garage, an event space and a bar, allowing the home to extend beyond daily living into a place for gathering and shared moments. The interior is shaped by natural materials like raw wood, stone and mineral surfaces, used in a calm and balanced way. Light and shadow play an important role, while large openings frame the surrounding landscape and bring the outside in. Elements such as the fireplace and kitchen island are designed as solid, sculptural volumes, grounding the spaces while keeping a sense of quiet simplicity.
